When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

Few of mine friends are in Iskon Kanpur, so I came to know about this.

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

Iskon Kanpur as there is my home-town. I have not visited yet because I was outside my home-town since one year due to corporate Job.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I am Deep Tripathi from Kanpur, UP. I am graduate in B.Tech Fibre technology for GCTI Kanpur.Then placed in world's largest terry towel manufacturer, worked for a year only. Presently I am preparing for Civil Services examination. Few of my friends have joined Iskon and they had to live in Iskon Kanpur during graduation time. I have never thought about in any way that I should visit it once. After listening Prena Youth Festival talk of Gaur Gopal Prabhu Ji a year back, it was turning phase of my life. I have changed myself in a lot of means. Now, I would like to chant, to devote in Krishna Conciousness. I can't be full time devotee as I have my family which is completely depends on my career but I would like to join Iskon family to remove all the odds in my life and do spiritual practice in best possible manner.
