Pranam Dearest Devotee. Hare Krishna.

May you receive transcendental blessings and grace

and mercy; health and strength and understanding;

peace and love; harmony and wisdom; insight and

intuition and inspiration from the God of Gods; the

Lord of Lords; the King of Kings; the God of love, the

God Who animates every aspect of the material universe.

He keeps our heart beating and our stomach digesting

food and oversees an incalculable number of chemical

reactions per second that takes place in every cell of the

body we live in. Lord Krishna notices everything. He

observes and pays attention to us. Lord Krishna is aware

of our thoughts and our dreams, our behaviours and our

desires. It is Lord Krishna Who causes the trees to grow

and He causes distant galaxies to form and collapse. Lord

Krishna is the Original Bhagavan, the Supreme Personality

of Godhead. I offer my respectful obeisances unto Him.

May your devotion to Him be resolute and unflinching; may

your confidence in Him be firm and total; may your love for

Him be unfailing and intense, and may your faith in Him be

When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

I studied Gaudiya Vaishnavism from the time I was eight, when I saw a picture of Radharani and thought that She and Krishna were beautiful.

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

I don't know any personally, unfortunately. There are no ISKCON temples in my area.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I have battled anorexia for the past four years. I don't even know if Radharani and Krishna Ji want me to fast on Ekadashi at this point? I eat anywhere from 250-600 calories per day. I just don't know what to do and need help and advice. I'm also a convert from Catholicism.

What are your expectations from this community?

I hope they can help me with my anorexia.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I want to eat to please them. Eating is like fasting for me: it hurts and I dislike it, yet I know it's what God wants from me. I'm so scared to gain weight. It's so vain, and Radhika and Krishna hate vanity. I want to be exorcised of this evil demon, wrongly labelled as a disease.
