When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

In my engineering college I had a roommate Sulakshana Gopi Devi Dasi who is an initiated disciple of Radhanath Swami Maharaj. I then started coming to the temple and worshipping the Laddu Gopalji she had. We used to read Bhagvad Gita everyday. Then I started chanting. And when I came back to pune after my studies I met another devotee at my workplace. So I could continue my chanting.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

When I first came to ISKCON I could not find a place where I could fit in so well. The devotees were like a family. No matter which temple you go you always feel like you are 1 big family. When I went to Mayapur, I really Lost my Heart. I was so happy that I got a chance to chant and serve. In Vrindavan, I could feel that Prabhupada has built a home in which the whole world can stay. I am so very grateful to GuruMaharaj for His inspiring talks. So happy and in debt to Prabhupada for making me a part of this movement. Thank you so much Krishna for your mercy.

What are your expectations from this community?

There are no devotees at my workplace. So I feel that I am struggling to remember Krishna. So I want to stay connected to the devotees so that I get inspired to chant and also I want to render service to the devotees. I also want to hear wonderful lectures and kirtans and take Darshan of ISKCON temples all over the world.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I would like to preach so that I can share the mercy we have got with others.
