When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

Since my childhood I collected the calenders of ISKCON. I loved the beauty of the effigy images. So, I was keen visit them. The inclination towards spirituality was due to my grandfather's influence on me. I first visited an ISKCON temple located in Indore in my 12th standard. Then I visited one in Ujjain.

I have a spiritual inclination in a sense that I believe in one supreme being who we all tend to meet in the end. The human life is the only path to lead there. Not even the heavens will make us go there....towards the source of all knowledge, all consciousness, the all powerful being of whose we all are a part. So I wish to utilize this opportunity to be born as a human. I do not let any kind of ill will to foster inside me. I respect every individual. This also helps me not to be angry even under adversity. I always have a feeling that whatever happens, happens for a greater good, though at the time being it may seem to be against the prejudiced notions of the mind. This saves me wasting my time in waiting for the luck to come to my aid. I am a college student, currently pursuing my B.Tech program in I.T. I am highly influenced by my grandfather who has taught me to keep two things in my mind, firstly, whatever happens, happens for the good and secondly, nothing remains permanent. So, I don't expect anything from anyone and I am always happy.

What are your expectations from this community?

Just keep me well aware of the things i ought not do and the ones I should to get closer to God and further in my journey.
