When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

Just once visiting a nearby video library in around 1999-2000, a Yugoslavian Iskcon devotee offered me Bhagavad Gita in Gujarati, i told him that i am marathi studying in a catholic school, so i would like to read Bhagavad Gita (English). I took the decision to buy Gita instead of movie CD as i was amazed to see the dedication of foreigner towards Krishna. So that was very first contact.

Highly Ambitious, skeptical, highly practical, spiritual indeed but with modern liking; not easily accepting ideology without logical reasoning; but loving to Krishna as had experiences wherein i can definitely that some higher force has helped me. A STRONG desire to know my very own purpose of birth & duty/contribution to people or earth. I feel like Hanuman with all the power but with no direction at all. Currently, frustrated between duties & desires; seeking practical solutions in daily life & aspiration to achieve moksha definitely.

What are your expectations from this community?

I strongly believe in Krishna and his grand scheme; but my innate practical nature (necessary in Kalyug) wants me to seek some answers acting with a neutral or atheist mind.
