When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

Once I bought Srila Prabhupada's book 'Bhagavad Gita As It Is' from a bookshop and started reading it . There I saw his photo beneath which was written 'Founder Acharya of ISKCON' . Even before that a friend of mine lent me the book 'Krishna,The Supreme Personality Of Godhead' & enjoyed reading it , though initially I didn't understand some concepts.But then as I continued reading it I enjoyed myself immensely. In the Bhagavad Gita book I saw the address of the ISKCON Chennai and went there & bought Srimad Bhagavatam bookk & associated with some of the devotees there .Later due to my friend , I got to associate with lots of devotees there.Thus I came to know of the Hare Krishna Movement .

I am a bit shy & generally do speak easily with anyone much .

What are your expectations from this community?

I want to serve all devotees , learn from them the science of self realization , the science of Bhakti yoga , have all my doubts cleared , serve the deities of Radha-Krishna , do book distribution .

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I would like to help the devotees in spreading their movement by doing book distribution and doing any other help they need . I would love to offer any service .
