They forget about those things very fast because of that parents should teach them to be good persons and value other’s care.

It is a misunderstanding to think that giving material things we will perform our duties. If child is predicted to stay in a nice house then he himself somehow will stay in such like place, no need to put over endeavor. That will happen without any strong tension.

Duty of parents is that child be sincere, decent, hardworking, and have good qualities. That is all. If all these are there then you have done your duty.

Other things will come by themselves. Without over endeavor he will get all that. By the time he himself will achieve other things. People in the mode of passion pay too much attention to materializing material comforts but then forget the main thing which is giving good qualities to a child.

They earn money for a flat for a child etc. Child cannot value the property obtained by other’s endeavor. Most of all, he squanders it all in the first years of independent life and nothing else to do. And will remain without good qualities and without any flat.

Which means all your efforts in this direction is simple a waste of time. At the same time one should not think that if not to give anything to a child and become greedy child will become generous.

What is the duty of a child?

Duty of a child comes in front when parents get older – he has to take care of them. It is his duty. What is the duty of a son? In Sanskrit son is called as putra.

That word means also person who liberates one from the hell. Which means son is capable of liberating parents from the hell. If parents educated their son by cultivating good qualities in him but did some sins and went to the hell then good son by doing some sacrifices or just praying for their well being can liberate parents from that hell.

Daughter if she herself is not able to do so she can give birth to a son who can do that. Grandson can liberate not only grandfather and grandmother but mother also. In this way son can bring welfare in this life but daughter by educating nice grandson.

There are duties of a son and a daughter before the parents, if they do not perform them, soon or later they will have to perform them. If not performed then there will be need to perform them in the next life.

Sometimes in order to perform their own duties before parents children take birth as the parents and parents take birth as kids that they change with places and do not perform duties before each other. Such thing maybe happens often.
