The actual day of the Vyasa Puja is on October 29, 2013, being the tenth day of the sacred month of Kartik. The Vyasa Puja is an important celebration for anyone who benefits from or appreciates the efforts of a bona fide spiritual master. There will be many individual Vyasa Puja celebrations around the world, organized and attended by disciples, students, and well-wishers.It is traditional to render some service to the spiritual master on the occasion of his Vyasa Puja. This is an expression of gratitude and some reciprocation with the spiritual master.This is how you can render service... 1. Write a Vyasa Puja offering. Anyone may write a Vyasa Puja offering, and offer their heartfelt words of appreciation to the spiritual master. If you have not written a Vyasa Puja offering before, you may look at last year's offerings here .Please note that for your offering to be included in the official Vyasa Puja ebook, they must be received by email to sda.vyasapuja.offerings@gmail.com on or before October 4th 2013. The offering should be in the main subject of the email, not as an attachments. You are welcome to send relevant pictures with suggested captions for inclusion into the Vyasa Puja ebook. Do not delay, write your offering now and send it off. You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt. If you do not get an acknowledgement within 3 days of sending, please resend your Vyasa Puja offering, as it was likely not received. If you already sent your offering, thank you very much!2. Enthusiastically attend, serve at, or yourself conduct a Vyasa Puja celebration, either locally or in another location, whatever works best for you.
