LOVE FOR LORD KRISHNA. PART 3.‏

These mellows cannot be compared to the feelings one derives from demigod worship. Kṛṣṇa is one, but the demigods are different. They are material. Love for Kṛṣṇa cannot be compared to material love for different demigods.
(Sri caitanya Caritamrta---2:8:83---purport).

Love for Kṛṣṇa has this one unique effect: it imbues superiors, equals and inferiors with the spirit of service to Lord Kṛṣṇa.
(Sri caitanya Caritamrta---1:6:53----purport).

In the material world we are situated in designative positions only, but pure devotional service begins when one is freed from all designations. When love for Kṛṣṇa is awakened, the designative positions are overcome.
(Sri caitanya Caritamrta---1:4:31---purport).

As a result of bhakti, one’s dormant love for Kṛṣṇa awakens. When one is so situated that he can taste the association of Lord Kṛṣṇa, material existence, the repetition of birth and death, comes to an end.
(Sri caitanya Caritamrta---2:20:141---purport).

The result of chanting is that one awakens his love for Kṛṣṇa and tastes transcendental bliss. Ultimately, one attains the association of Kṛṣṇa and engages in His devotional service, as if immersing himself in a great ocean of love.
(Sri caitanya Caritamrta---3:20:14---translation).

When situated in the transcendental position, one is freed from the two kinds of material diseases—hankering and lamentation. This is also stated in Bhagavad-gītā. After devotional life begins, we can achieve the full result of love of Godhead. Love of Kṛṣṇa is the highest perfection of bhagavat-prasāda, or divine mercy. This transcendental achievement is so greatly valuable that no material happiness can compare to it.
(Srimad Bhagavatam---3:23:7---purport).

A devotee’s aim in life is to attain perfection in loving the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
(Sri caitanya Caritamrta--1:5:36---purport).

Hearing and speaking Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is the religious process which elevates one to the platform of serving and loving the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
(Nectar of Devotion).

“The object of love is Kṛṣṇa, and the container of that love is the devotee of Kṛṣṇa."
(Sri caitanya Caritamrta---2:23:51---purport).
