Is Lord Vishnu and Ganeshji are same?

Hare Krishna to all devotees

Dandvat

My question is that is Lort Vishnu and Ganesh is the same. The word 'Sri' is used before Krishna, in the names of narayana and in Ganesh also - Sri Ganesh. And i have heard story of saving lord Shiva from bhasmasur by Lord Visnu and Ganeshji both. So it is confusion in my mind.

Please clear this doubt. Sorry for any offence i have done.

Lord Krishna is the source of everyone including powerful demigods like Shiva, Ganesha, Brahma etc. According to the story, only Lord Vishnu saved Lord Shiva from Bhasmasur not Lord Ganesha.

Lord Vishnu is another form of Krishna. Lord Vishnu and Ganesha are not same. Yes you can say that Lord Ganesha is one of the greatest of devotees of Krishna or Vishnu.

There are many so-called devotional serials being telecasted on TV these days. But we don't know whether what is being shown to us is authentic or not. These serials dedicated to  their respective demigods pictures them as the supreme and others as secondary. This is a business being made by the producers and they mislead the common people.

But we must actually listen from authentic source i.e. Vaishnava Acharyas . Then only we may know the Truth otherwise  we would be easily mislead by anyone and through any methods.

Chant Hare Krishna and be Happy.
