Brahmotsava marks the anniversary of the installation of the Deities, Sri Sri Radha Krishnachandra, Sri Sri Krishna Balarama, Sri Sri Nitai Gauranga, Sri Srinivasa Govinda and Sri Prahlada Narasimha, and the consecration of the temple. The Deities of ISKCON Bangalore were installed on the 25th of April, 1997 on the Hare Krishna hill in the Chaitra masa, Krishna paksha, Ashtami tithi. This year, 2014, Iskcon Bangalore was celebrated 17th Annual Brahmotsava from April 13th - April 24th.

Day 1 Celebrations
Before the grand twelve day Brahmotsava festival officially begins, a series of ceremonies are conducted the previous evening, this year on 12th April, 2014. The purpose of these rituals is to protect the temple throughout the Brahmotsava celebrations. These include Garuda Pata Prathistha, Vainateya homa and many other rituals...
Day 2 Celebrations
On the second day of the Brahmotsava celebrations, which was observed on 14th April 2014, Sri Krishnachandra was decorated in Lakshmi Narayana Alankara, holding chakra, shankha and gadha in His three hands and blessing the devotees with the fourth hand in abhaya mudra. Srimati Radharani was carried in a separate palanquin as Sri Mahalakshmi.
Day 3 Celebrations
On the third day of Sri Brahmotsava, Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Krishnachandra were adorned in Sri Sri Radha Krishnachandra Alankara and carried on Chandra Prabha Vahana.
Day 4 Celebrations
On the fourth day of Sri Brahmotsava, Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Krishnachandra were adorned in Sri Rukmini Vijaya Alankara and carried on Ashva Vahana.
Day 5 Celebrations
The fifth day of the Sri Brahmotsava festival at ISKCON Bangalore was celebrated on 17th of April, 2014. Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Krishnachandra were adorned in Sri Sri Madana Mohana Mohini Alankara and carried on Hamsa Vahana.
Day 6 Celebrations
The sixth day of Sri Brahmotsava at ISKCON Bangalore were celebrated on 29th April, 2013. Sri Krishnachandra was adorned in Venugopala Krishna Alankara standing on Kalpa Vriksha Vahana in a tribhanga (bent in three places) posture. Srimati Radharani was decorated as Dhanya Lakshmi, holding sugarcane, bunch of bananas, paddy and a lotus flower in her four hands.
Day 7 Celebrations
On the seventh day of the grand celebrations of the Sri Brahmotsava festival at ISKCON Bangalore, Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Krishnachandra were adorned in Radha Raja Gopala Alankara. Seated on the Maha pallaki which is a grand palanquin with gold leafing and etchings of various scenes depicting the pastimes of Lord Krishna, Radha and Krishna were seated as the King and Queen.
Day 8 Celebrations
The eighth day of Sri Brahmotsava festival at ISKCON, Bangalore on the 1st of May, 2013 is another captivating experience, Sri Krishnachandra was adorned in Mohini Alankara took a ride on the Hamsa Vahana. Srimati Radharani was carried in a separate palanquin, adorned as Dhanalakshmi.

Day 9 Celebrations
The ninth day of Sri Brahmotsava at ISKCON Bangalore was celebrated on the 2nd of May, 2013. Sri Krishnachandra were adorned in Kalki Alankara on the Ashva Vahana, and Srimati Radharani was carried in a separate palanquin in Veeralakshmi alankara. The Kalki alankara is in remembrance of Lord Krishna’sdescent as Kalki, the scheduled incarnation for Kali yuga.

Day 10 Celebrations
On the tenth day of the festival Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Krishnachandra were adorned in Vrindavana Krishna Vishesha Alankara and seated in the Brahma Ratha. This day is the most significant one in the entire festival as it is the installation day of Sri Radha Krishnachandra and all other Deities at Srila Prabhupada’s Iskcon Bangalore.
Day 11 Celebrations
The eleventh day of the Sri Brahmahotsava festival at ISKCON Bangalore was celebrated on 4th of May, 2013. The evening was marked with a special and grand event called Churna Abhisheka, a ceremonial bath to all the utsavar deities of the temple.

Day 12 Celebrations
The last day of the Sixteenth Brahmotsava festival at ISKCON Bangalore was celebrated with grandeur. Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Krishnachandra were adorned in Venulola Alankara. In this Alankara, Lord Krishna and Srimati Radharani were bejeweled with different kinds of precious stones. There was abhisheka for Sri Sudarshan Narasimha in Kalyani and the festival concluded with Dvaja Avarohana and Prokshana ceremony.
