    The book "The Art of Chanting Hare Krishna" By H.H. Mahanidhi Swami clearly explains the difference between material sound and transcendetal sound of Lord Sri Krisna's name. The example of how a medicinal capsule is not the medicine was very helpful in giving clear understanding to me about the process of chanting.Of course, the medicine absorbs only to the extent the capsule allows.

    CONCENTRATION = QUALITY
    The process of chanting is to say the Hare Krishna Mahamantra distinctly pronounicng each word and listen to these words with all attention. The emphasis is on hearing. And concentration can be improved by various methods
    1. Early morning is the best time to chant when we r at our sattvic best
    2. The process of chanting itself is a practice which improves over a period of time
    3. Always beg for the mercy of the Lord & Srila Prabhupada to help u.
    4. Find a suitable place that has less distractions.
    5. Chant with devotees.
    6. Chant with the knowledge that Krishna is present in His name also.
    7. Avoid the 10 offenses
    8. Be in touch with Prabhupada thru books & lectures
    9. Visit ur local ISKCON temple once a week atleast and do some service
    10. Follow the Vaishnava etiquette

    that according to my experience in this material world chanting the hari name is only meaningful thing and all other thing s like dream.

Radhe Krishna, Today, I visited ISKCON temple, Chennai, India and participated in the Bajan and listened to Gita discourse. I also bought Jaba Beads and pouch. Learned how to Chant Maha Mantra from a guru ji there in the stall. Overall, very very happy and enlightening experience. Just now concluded 2 rounds of Maha mantra chanting.
