It has come! It has come! After a whole year Sri Navadvipa Parikrama has come once again inviting all devotees to enter its prema filled islands.
Around 6 am, in the hazy morning of the 26th , vaishnavas and vaishnavis from all walks of life and of multifarious cultural and ethnical backgrounds gather at the Sri Yogapith.
The first of many kirtans to come began startling the hearts of all with vibrant earnestness, humility and courage. “Jiv jago Jiv Jago”
The procession of Gaura bhaktas headed from the sacred Bhajan Kutir of Srila Prabhupada, traversing the sleepy streets of Mayapur with Nam Sankirtan, reached the birth place of Lord Caitanya, where we heard from various illustrious Sannyasis as well as other seniors about the glory of Gauranga Nityananda, Their devotional service, Their devotees, Their Holy Name and Their Transcendental Holy Dham.
HH BVV Narasimha Swami connected the speakers to specific topics and held the entire presentation together.
We heard from HG Rajendranandana Prabhu ACBSP, that the goal of Parikrama is to develop Krishna Prema. He alerted us to be careful with all the vaishanvas during parikrama and practically cultivate humility and tolerance in order to catch the attention of Sri Gaurasundar.
HH Radha Raman Maharaj who is the coordinator of Vraja Mandala Parikrama for more then 30 years, also enlighted the audience both in Hindi and English: “ By coming in touch with the Bhumi the earth, by sleeping on it, by sitting on it you will awaken spontaneous love for Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu”
HH Navayogendraswami Spoke about purity of devotional service, whereas others quoted from Shastra that by doing Navadvipa Parikrama the people in Los Angeles, Zurich Hawai they are getting purified, indeed the whole world becomes purified by this Navadvipa Mandala Parikrama.
In this way the nectar didnt cease to flow from HH Bhakti Purushottama Swami and HH Lokanath Swami who filled the devotees with sweet loving appreaciation and gratitude.
Sri Parikrama started ton the 27th , Thursday, and it started on fire. Yes Agnideva Prabhu started leading the International Party along with Nitai Pada Kamalam. In fact we are going behind with Sri Gaura Nitai and THEY are taking US along.
From Pancanana Tala to Hari Hara kshetra, the was great joy and bliss. HG Panca ratna prabhu enacted the pastimes of Suvarna Vihar very expertly. In the evening HH Bhati Nrisimha Maharaja closed up the day with Nrisimha Palli pastime. May Lord Nrisimhadeva protect us all.
