As with all temples around the world during the COVID-19 Pandemic, ISKCON Hungary’s properties in Budapest and Krishna Valley have been locked down, and devotees are staying at home. Krishna Valley is nearly self-sufficient in some foods, such as grains, flour, fruits, vegetables and honey, and devotees are working hard in the fields to increase their food production during this time and reduce trips to the store.

More than 40 food distribution hubs have been established in 31 boroughs as the extraordinary humanitarian effort to get food to more than 150,000 vulnerable Londoners gets under way.
The hubs are being supplied daily with truck-loads of fresh produce by the capital’s three largest surplus food distribution charities, including The Felix Project, the Evening Standard’s Food For London Now campaign partner, alongside FareShare and City Harvest.

ISKCON Mayapur has started distributing prasad to rural villagers as a part of covid-19 relief program in the region. Very much appreciated and indeed, as few villagers mentioned that they were waiting for this prasad, came in large numbers and accepted prasad, maintaining social distance norms.
