Translation

Krishna is the lover of Radha. He displays many amorous pastimes in the groves of Vrindavana, He is the lover of the cowherd maidens of Vraja, the holder of the great hill named Govardhana, the beloved son of Mother Yashoda, the delighter of the inhabitants of Vraja, and He wanders in the forests along the banks of the River Yamuna.

  • Thank you mataji for this Glories poem because I sing this for very long time but i never manage to get meaning so now I know the meaning so it is even more sweeter then ever before and yes it does make you very happy.
  • In a Tape of Srila Prabhupada he says "gopi-jana-vallabha, Lord Krsna is wondering on the bank of the Yamuna, wondering how to satisfiy gopi-jana, Similarly gopi-jana is thinking how to satisfy Krsna. They do not know that Krsna is God or not or not so much harassed thinking if that Krsna is God. They do not know what He is they just love Krsna. Then giri-vara-dhari, Krsna will save one from all danger,s even by lifting a hill which was the business of his little finger only to bring down to his knees big demigod Lord Indra
