Ignorance is certainly not bliss in my opinion because an ignorant person can easily trample upon the heads of persons of other faith who may be more dear to Lord Sri Krishna but don't align with an ignorant person's narrow dogmatic view of his or her particular sect.

TRANSLATION
" [Lord Krsna told Arjuna:] " Those who are My direct devotees are actually not My devotees, but those who are the devotees of My servant are factually My devotees. ' "
PURPORT
Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu quotes this verse from the Adi Purana. The verse is also included in the Laghu-bhagavatamrta (2.6).

durapa hy alpa-tapasah
seva vaikuntha-vartmasu
yatropagiyate nityam
deva-devo janardanah
TRANSLATION
" Those whose austerity is meager can hardly obtain the service of the pure devotees progressing on the path back to the kingdom of Godhead, the Vaikunthas. Pure devotees engage one hundred percent in glorifying the Supreme Lord, who is the Lord of the demigods and the controller of all living entities. "
PURPORT
This verse is a quotation from Srimad-Bhagavatam (3.7.20). It was spoken by Vidura in his conversation with Maitreya Rsi, a great devotee of the Lord.

gurucaraṇāmbuja nirbhara bhakataḥ
saṁsārādacirādbhava muktaḥ |
sendriyamānasa niyamādevaṁ
drakśyasi nija hṛdayasthaṁ devam||
Oh devotee of the lotus feet of the Guru! May thou be soon free from Samsara. Through disciplined senses and controlled mind, thou shalt come to experience the indwelling Lord of your heart!

Any religion that does not get one to the lotus feet of krishna is certainly not the topmost.nobody has any doubts over it.

what is the fuss about?
The creation is not only meant for the top most transcendentalists. There are others also.
" And the student who can enter into the heart of the sun planet is compared to those who realize the personal features of the Absolute Truth. Therefore, the bhaktas, or the transcendentalists who have realized the Bhagavan feature of the Absolute Truth, are the topmost transcendentalists, although all students who are engaged in the study of the Absolute Truth are engaged in the same subject matter. "

the material creation right?
of course it is meant for the transgressors of the divine will..
Actually according to the Vedanta Sutras the material world is meant for the pastimes of the Lord.
that is amazing that you brought it up,actually i was going to write in that fashion only but then modified it to suit the general idea of material world.
actually all spiritual worlds and material worlds revolve around Krishna.that is not that really easy to comprehend.actually if we are not careful then we can push the whole blame of material world and material miseries onto krishna coz we are seeing material worlds as a pastime place and not as a reformatory for the errant jivas.
and other species of life are also caught up in the whirlwind of leela.
Not to mention other species of life also begining with cows.
