Two questions

Hare Krishna and dandavat pranam to all prabhujis and matajis!!! Can anyone of you please answer these questions----

1) How Vedvyas could compose Mahabharata?? Did he actually witness all the events or had a divine vision of everything like Sage Valmiki??

2) Bhagavad Gita is taken form Bhishma Parva of Mahabharata. How could Vedvyas accurately write the conversations between Arjun and Krishna??

  • hare krishna ji,

dear understand that vedavyasa was not simply a sage.he is an avatar of lord krishna.

    "vyasaya vishnuroopaya

    vyasaroopoaya vishnave

    namo vhy brahmanidhaye,

    vaasishtaya namonamah"

  • dear krsna's lover..

u have a very nice question there ! well the answer is yes. rishi veda-vyasa was transcendentally present over there like sanjaya( having a far vision). he was dictating the mahabharata(to dat extent even gita) wor to word but in a poetic sanskrit form and lord ganesh was jodding it down..

so now we have 3 witnesses to the bhagwad gita 1) arjuna 2) ved-vyasa 3) sanjaya

    • hare krishna prabhuji,

      yes you r right,

if u visit Badrinath temple, from there some 3  kilometers ahead in a small village called Mana.

u would see Ganesh gufa and sri Vyas Gufa.

It was here, at Vyasa Guha that Veda Vyasa is said to have composed the Mahabharata with none other than Lord Ganesha himself as a scribe.
