second question  : is this all bad things happening to me due to whatever bad Karma i did in my

previous life ?? ( whatever living entity body i was having in my previous birth)

3rd question : are these all problems happening due to my karma in this present human form of

life???? as  science says every action has equal and opposite reaction?

      Jai Srila Prabhupada

      Hare Krishna!

      Prabhu ji!

      • There are already nice replies by devotees. But I want to add. Lord Krsna says in Bhagavad Gita that this world and even Brahma's abode are miserable, full of miseries and temporary.
      • Karma means working independent of Krsna's wish. SO you and we are responsible for deeds. Sinful life comes by forgetfulness of Lord and it can be permanently earadicated only by revival of Krsna consciousness.
      • SO, miseries are due to bad karma, ignorance of real svarupa, forgetfulness of eternaal well-wisher Supreme Lord.
  • Hare Krishna !!

    Please Accept my Humble Obeisances.

I would like to share my own experience related to your last question of loosing temper. I was always a short tempered girl in m family. i use to get irritated very easily. Later when i came to Krishna Consciousness still this thing continued with me. But i really wanted to control this because i felt was a stone in this wonderful path of self realization. when i joined a course of "Journey Of Self Discovery" here in Mumbai. I inquired to  HG Dwarkadesh Prabhuji to control my short temper. He 1st asked me from when i was chanting? " I told past 3 years, but was not so well dedicated to chanting." He suggested me to chant nicely and pray Krishna to destroy your obstacle on your path of Bhakti, and after that incident today i m really feeling from my side that i have really become calm as well as my family member have also realized this change within me.

So, i will just suggest you Chant the Holy Name with Full FAITH and atleast try to surrender your activities to Him. Pray at Srimati Radharani's Lotus Feet for Protection.

    Dandavat Pranaam.

  • Jai Shree Hari Prabhu Ji.

What do you think is good and what is bad?? When something happens which we had desired for becomes - GOOD and when it doesn't happen it becomes - BAD. My Govind is always neutral. We are reaping what we had sowed in over earlier lives. Moreover you are talking only about this birth, My Govind knows about your millions of births which are yet to take place.

One can get rid of his / her problems only if My Govind has written it. Else it'll not happen no matter what you do. My Govind never gives you any tensions or will not take any of your tensions. I would reiterate, whatever you get and dont get is written and you cant do anything about it.

    Jai Shree Hari

Hare Krishna dearest Devotees, please accept my humble obeisances! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

We travel from body to body seeking enjoyment, but each time we are met with frustration because there is no comparison between the material enjoyment and the spiritual enjoyment. Serving Krsna is the most ecstatic of all activities!

everything was already explained nicely, but still will try repeat same things in a little different way using that knowledge which i understood by hearing and reading words of authorities.

My First Question : when i got this human form of life whatever stress, depression and problems, i am suffering until I Die, Was it written by GOD when I took birth that these bad things will happen to You????

Usually there are different types of karmas: already manifested, manifesting, and will be manifested in the future. So our gross body is a prarabdha karma - already manifested karma. We can try our best to change it by doing some surgical operations but still it is already manifested so changing is little bit difficult.

example: to change color of the skin, origin...difficult.

Gross body is the mirror of mental body. Because of that there is the science of physiognomy - knowing which one can study the qualities of a person by looking to his bodily features. Particular quality - particular nose...particular quality - particular eyes....

so it is a science - even in Srimad Bhagavatam Prahlada Maharaja says about it.

    ...

In the reality the feeling of MATERIAL happiness and suffering is already written generally. But if one is intelligent there might be these changes but he or she won't feel such like changes of the state of mind. As Krishna says in Bhagavad Gita happiness and distress are coming and going as like seasons do.

So learned one won't lament on that. He is above that. Why? Because he knows that these things are only temporary. And if i am sad now will go after some time, and happiness will come, and again it will also go sadness will come. So it is the nature of material life.

God as a loving mother wants us to be happy only. But happy eternally. He is not satisfied with making us happy for just moments. As we know when Maha Vishnu exhales from the pores of His skin comes out all material universes and when inhales all these universes go within His body. So for Him even all these four Yugas are like a moment. But we think that our 60-80 years life is so important and long. And ask for happiness only for that fraction of moment. But Lord as a Mother knows what is better, doesn't He?!

In order to make us happy He gives us instructions in the form of Knowledge-Vedic Knowledge. But He does not force us to love and follow Him. To love someone forcible is not possible.

But we suffer because we do not trust and follow His rules. So we collect bad karma from time immemorial.

So it is our own fault.

So summary is God is not cause for our sufferings. We suffer because we do not use our life according to rules and regulations. But karma can be changed. With similar karma one can be happy where as other one may greatly suffer - it is the state of consciousness.

second question : is this all bad things happening to me due to whatever bad Karma i did in my previous life ?? ( whatever living entity body i was having in my previous birth)

Yes. And it might be the previous life only but previous to previous one. So we lived billions of life times so we collected immense amount of karma to be fulfilled. Not only bad things but good things also.

3rd question : are these all problems happening due to my karma in this present human form of life???? as science says every action has equal and opposite reaction?

As already Radhe Prabhu told in order to do one thing we commit some other sins so it is very difficult subject matter - to stay in this mortal world.

It might not be so. Because we have a huge karma so we may be facing those which we have done in our previous lives. But it says that one who chants the Holy Names of Krishna attentively one can become free from all, all, all reactions of his or her karma.

So Holy Names are powerful. So those who have no anymore karma may get immediate reaction of their present karma. For example, they may kill ants unknowingly and they get reaction in the form of scratches, cuts in the skin....

Or else if they offend Devotees and Deities they get immediate reaction in the form of health problems, ...why?

Because Lord is taking direct care of His Devotees, so He won't let His Devotees to fall down to this samsara of death and birth. So He protects them by giving immediate reactions in order they come to consciousness and correct themselves and act correctly.

So it is the protection of Krishna.

        Your servant,

    oh, sure no problem ;)

let me change the style to question per question:

My First Question : when i got this human form of life whatever stress, depression and problems,

i am suffering until I Die, Was it written by GOD when I took birth that these bad things will happen to You????

First and foremost, we must understand the rules of Karma because the rules of Karma combined with our actions decide what body we will next get and the things that will happen to us. A simple example - good deeds lead to a better and "upper" birth (ie. Human birth for example), and bad deeds lead to a worse and "lower" birth (say like a cockroach). But the main importance is given to ACTION. Our actions lead us to different directions, so whether we have a positive or negative future / next birth depends on our actions.

You asked the important question of whether Krsna (God) writes all these things into our horoscope, and the answer is  NO. This sort of evolves into the question of "If there is a God, why do bad things happen?"... and the answer to that and your question is Krsna does not interfere in this material creation. We have to realize that we are given limited free will in the material world. This limited free will extends in the form of basically a choice between the path to Krsna of which there are four ways  as described in the Gita: Karma (perfect action), Jnana (knowledge), Dhyana (meditation), and Bhakti Yoga (devotional service) OR avoiding Krsna by partaking in sensual enjoyment for the self (of which about 99.9% of the living entities in the material world partake in (this means ALL living entities, incl. humans, animals, sea creatures, insects, trees, etc.).

So now we can ask another important question: Why Does Suffering Exist?

I answered this in a short version in that first part, but let's take a closer look using the Gita as evidence.

We are all parts and parcels of Krsna: "The living entities in this conditioned world are My eternal fragmental parts. Due to conditioned life, they are struggling very hard with the six senses, which include the mind" (15.7). And thus, we must have characteristics of Krsna in minute quantities. Because Krsna is the supreme enjoyer (this is clear because he is the Supreme Personality of Godhead), and we as living entities with minute quantities of Krsna's eternal qualities, think we also are the enjoyer. But we are not enjoyer, but the enjoyed (The living entity in material nature thus follows the ways of life, enjoying the three modes of nature. This is due to his association with that material nature. Thus he meets with good and evil among various species. (13.22)). In other words, we think ourselves to be the masters of this body and thus we act in whatever way we wish, without realizing that we are still under the control of the material nature. Thus these actions lead us to suffering. Further, Krsna answers this question in the third chapter of the Gita, when Arjuna asked Him what compels people to partake in sinful activities. (It is lust only, Arjuna, which is born of contact with the material mode of passion and later transformed into wrath, and which is the all-devouring sinful enemy of this world. (3.37)). These things lead us to sinful activities which in turn leads us to suffering in the current or next life.

    (will continue later)

First, Welcome to IDT. I hope you have a wonderful time reading and listening and watching all these amazing sources that were put together by these devotees!

      Secondly,

the simplest but most perfect answer is already given by naresh prabhu! Surrender to Krsna!

But to further elaborate on your questions:

      Anger-

I asked a senior devotee a similar example and he gave me a wonderful story that I have sadly forgotten. Anyhow, I do remember a few important details. We are all parts and parcels of Krsna, and thus we all have minute fractions of whatever qualities Krsna has. This is why some people are more beautiful than others, or some people are smarter than others, etc. Anger is also a spiritual quality because it also comes from Krsna as seen in the Narasimhadev incarnation (Lord Narasimhadev was spiritual anger personified), and thus we as the living entities also have anger within us. But just like everything in this material world - there is a good time and a bad time to do a particular activity. Similarly, since we, as humans, have the intelligence to think before we act, we must do so at all costs. So we must learn to control our angers if we ever wish to progress in Krsna's service. Note the word "control" not "eliminate"... we cannot get rid of anger since that's part of us, but what we can do is we can learn to control it and use it appropriately. The devotee prabhu gave me the example of if the temple was being attacked. We cannot just stay non violent, rather we take up arms and protect the deities (and this obviously involves anger, because violence is one external manifestation of anger). Just chant and think of Krsna continuously! My parents often told me and my sister that whenever we are angry we just chant Hare Krsna loudly, we replace all the cuss words with Hare Krsna, and whatever negative thoughts we think, we replace that with Hare Krsna! It's not easy to do, but it's like counting to 10 to calm you down. It does work, I have had experiences like that in the past, and the more you read about Krsna, the more you partake in service to Krsna, and the more you interact with the devotees, the more you will learn and the more you will be able to control that anger. I wasn't ever the quick to anger person, but I really fumed when I got angry. But after focusing myself more in KC, I rarely get angry anymore, so from personal experience, it does work.

      Karma-

Krsna says in the Gita that the root of all sins and evil is caused by desire and our attachment to selfish desires leads us to meeting with unhappiness and distress. We travel from body to body seeking enjoyment, but each time we are met with frustration because there is no comparison between the material enjoyment and the spiritual enjoyment. Serving Krsna is the most ecstatic of all activities!

Present and Past. You are essentially burning up a never ending mountain of sins. For each sin that you "take care of" you get another bucket of other sins from doing other things. Say for example I burn up one sin by getting cut or something. While I run to the hospital or something I crush hundreds of ants. So in taking care of one sin, I add another 100+. It's the way of the material world.. and this gets carried over to your next body (because it also plays a role in what body you will get and because you will be taking care of these sins in your next body).

So the solution. We need to burn up all these sins continually. How? Well you can just stay in the Ganges for your entire life taking dips again and again to burn up all your sins that you acquired or are acquiring ... or you can simply carry on with your material life and chant Krsna's holy names and think of Krsna's sweet pastimes in Vrndavana with the Gopis, Gopas, Yashoda mata and Nanda Maharaja; and with Srimati Radharani.

I would personally choose the second one because it's easier and sweeter :)
