    If we are fasting nirjal without water and food and it so happens that in between the day we are "dieing" of sleepiness then to take a nap for 15 minutes and again being fresh to continue our service is ok. But usually we do not eat in order to save time for devotional service not for only for the sake of fasting and getting material benefits like bodily health and etc.

    In the other hand when Bhima fasted nirjal when it was evening he was not able to continue to fast and wanted to drink and eat. But he knew that it was not allowed so he lost his consciousness and woke up in the morning and broke his fast on time :D
