    • Thanks very much. So through Lord Krishna we can reach Lord Shiva more easily is what you are saying? It is like we need not understand Einstein, just understanding our professor is enough?

  • Hare Krishna,

    sarva-dharmān parityajya
    mām ekaṁ śaraṇaṁ vraja
    ahaṁ tvāṁ sarva-pāpebhyo

    Translation

Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear.

Purpose of devotion to Lord Shiva and Lord Sanka if it is for attaining  Sri Krishna's BHAKTI  and  PREMA  then it is okay to continue the devotion to other gods.
If the purpose of attaining something mateiral gains ( money, fame, power etc.) then pls. leave all kinds of devotion to all other gods and totally surrender to ONLY SRI KRISHNA.

Otherwise, it is like travelling in two boats .. you wont reach any destination.

    • This verse is from the Bhagwad Gita is it not? I have seen verses in Mahabharata that the Gita itself was taught by Lord Shiva to Lord Krishna and he is actually paraphrasing Lord Shiva. According to Shiva Purana everything and everyone is just an infinitesimal part of Lord Shiva who is the parabrahman?

      • Lord shiva himself was present their listening to Gita from the mouth of lord Krishna (as hanuman) , of course he already has this knowledge (since hanuman ji was taught by sun god ) but listening to it again and that too directly from the mouth of supreme lord was very relishing for him

        • Actually Lord Shiva put Krishna in a trance and spoke through him. Later Arjuna asked Krishna can you explain this aspect again and Krishna said it was Lord Shiva who was speaking through me and I don't remember anything now.

          • Achhaa!

Kahaan se leker aaye ho yeh baat?

            Quote scripture please

            • No need to quote any scripture. It is your job to find the scripture. That is your homework :)

          • Where in Gita it is said?

            • Not in the Gita, before he started on the Gita. Also there are many Gitas before the bhagwad Gita.Have you read the Ishwar Gita. Just google it. Also don't put a fence around your mind. If we say enough Om Namah Shivayas you and I can write a Gita ourselves and that too appropriate to the times.

      • Achaw?

Devon ke dev Mahadev ( devas and devi's are demigods un sab se upar hai Mahadev)  head of demigods.........

But Bhagwan is only ONE  That is Sri Krishna.

Sri Krishna is the  Supereme Personality of Godhead, one without a second.

If you think anyone else can be Bhagwan other than Lord Sri Krishna then it means you are going in circles and your faith is not yet formed.

Take your time. Some day you will realize ..maybe this is not the right time for you to know the Supreme Personality of Godhead yet.

        Hare Krishna
