I hear people these days doing Gau mata seva.

Suddnely with the raise in the Santhan dharma trend. Many people have taken up Gau mata seva seriously. Which is nice. I appreciate.

I also read from someone's post recently that they want to save atleast 2-3 cows, rescue them BECAUSE IT WILL PLEASE KRISHNA.

My doubt here is-

Do you do all activities for Pleasing Krishna?

Saving Cows because you feel real pain for the cruelity against animals ( dumb animals) or just to please krishna or krishna's sake.

You want to get into good books of Krishna...do some dharmik kaam and get into good books of Krishna... iske liye hi karte ho achhe karma?

Krishna ko patane ke liye bahut prayas kar rahe ho

ya real mein tumko un dumb creatures ke dard mein dard mehsoos ho raha hai?

Not only that.. I am seeing funny things going on.. they are doing Go dhaan also. paying 1 lakh rupees for doing Go dhaan. Upon asking they are saying that Go dhaan done in their family name, will reap benefits. Punya milega..!!!

Some are running to goshala to simply feed cows on AMAVASYA days. They are saying the reason as.. if you do Go Seva on Amavasya days we get lots of benefits and our poorvaj also get benefitted.

So, My doubt is-

People are doing these activities for gaining benefits or Pleasing Krishna

not because they are really in love with the creature ( cows).

I am finding it funny. The hype for Go mata seva and go raksha is so high these days because of over emphasis of reestablishing fallen Sanathana Dharma.

But then. How many of us love cows?

If you ask me. Instead of pleasing Krishna. If you really love cows..

See, if you have a pet animal like a dog or cat at home. You are worried if she has eaten her meal today.. because you have apanapan for that animal that is It belongs to me. MY DOG MY CAT.

Do you all feel apnapan for the cows?

I am not an animal lover. I am scared of animals.

I mean they can kill me with their horns and kick me off with their hind limbs. This fear is there.

Doing dhaarmik works for pleasing Krishna

Doing work because of real apnapan or having excessive overflowing love for living beings is two different things in my opinion.

  For pleasing Krishna pls. don't save cows.
  
  Only if you feel pain that the dumb animal goes thru if your heart really feels the pain do that.
  
  Not only cows. goats, chicken, fish, sheep all are living beings and all are slaughtered to be consumed by humans. ALL HAVE TO BE SAVED/ RESCUED isn't it? WHY ONLY LOVE FOR COWS?
