Apparently, it takes serious study and practice of Krsna Consciousness or "Hare Krsna Bhakti Yoga" to completely control propensity to Lust, Anger or Greed.  Many will have difficulty more fully knowing and realizing the instructions of authorized Vaisnava teachings.  Therefore, it is not altogether surprising when spiritual aspirants have difficulty.

To a certain extent a devotee may use lust, anger or greed in a way that is righteous before God Almighty.

May Lord Sri Krsna Bless you!

    Hare Krsna!

"Brahmacarya guru kule vasan danta" "The brahmacari is used to stay in the Gurukul under the strict guidance of the Spiritual master in order to learn how to control senses."

To preserve one's life's vital force--the semen which is known as brahma made of 10000 drops of pure blood to constitute one drop of semen-- is called brahmacarya.

Those who are able to preserve it without unnecessarily uses, can have tolerance, sharp memory, mental peace, very calm and quiet nature.

    dhyāyato viṣayān puṁsaḥ

    B.G.2.62
    Translation:
While contemplating the objects of the senses, a person develops attachment for them, and from such attachment lust develops, and from lust anger arises.
So, main reason of anger is due to bad association with object of senses. To prevent such association, you need the mode of goodness. To get the mode of goodness, you must control your senses.
Again,  to control your senses you need to eat only Krishna Prasadam-- any pure vegetarian food without onion, garlic, and meat products.
In B.G, it is mentioned that "YOUR FOOD CONTROLS YOUR BRAIN."
If you eat foods of mode of ignorance such as meat products, fish, eggs, and wine, etc., you will have tendency of mode of ignorance and you will have no judging power and becomes victims of anger, greed, lust etc.
If you eat foods of passion--too much salty, spicy, and that prepared more than three hours ago--you will have laziness, no smartness etc.
If you eat foods of mode of goodness such as fruits and vegetables, milk products etc,you will have mode of goodness with sharp intelligent.
Therefore, eat only Krishna Prasadam if you want to control your anger. The Krishna Prasadam is very spiritual and has a wonderful effect to change your senses to bring you in mode of goodness rapidly.
Also, another important factor is to KEEP YOUR BRHMACHARYA IN TACT WITH NO LOSS.
When you will able to preserve the "brahma",you will have powerful brain with all other good qualities--tolrence,  good memory, forgiveness, etc.
If you have any further questions, you may feel free to ask.
    Thank you,
    Hare Krishna!

Do You read regularly Srimad Bhagavatam?

Or do You do sports of yoga?

    Do You eat on time?

Do You drink cow milk before going to sleep?

    Do You always eat prasadam?

Do You wake up before Sun rise?

Do You sleep before or at 10 pm?

If not then lower modes will attack us.
