Haribol

Hare Krishna,

Please accept my humble obeisance.. All glories to Srila Prabhupad..

I have a silly question.. sorry for asking.. what language is spoken in spiritual world.. do the people there understand all the languages present here.. And how did languages originate here in material world.. did Krishna create it? how did each words acquire particular meaning...? is it humans who created languages or Krishna?

  • Hare Krishna,

I was doing some kind of research in this aspect coz i had this question right from my childhood.. I can see lot of theories in the internet regarding origin of language.. How did it begin? Is it jus randomly some cave men sitting and creating some sounds and thus a language begin or does the words we speak really mean what it is supposed to mean..

There are some explainations in Bible regarding this

Is there any explaination in Vedic scriptures regardin this?

  • Hare Krishna,

Krishna created the best things in this world also, but we human beings have diluted it.

The language is also not exception to this. You may see that even in India, HINDI language have various flavours and tones. Hindi spoke in Mumbai is different than the Hindi spoke in UP, Rajasthan, MP etc. Original Hindi has been twisted and turned by human beings using their free will.

Krishna Spoke in SANSKRIT, but then slowly the language has changed region wise like above example of HINDI.

Krishna is osurce of everything, but he also gives us free will to act and I think this is a good example.

Hare Krishna Sanjay Prabhu, please accept my humble obeisances! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

As i heard that it is Sanskrit. Sanskrit is the language of Devas.

And from that only all other languages appeared.

As like everything is under the control of some modes in this way even languages are under the influence of these three guans: raja, tama and sattva.

Some languages are good for literature some are very poor...

But Krishna knows all languages. It is one of His 64 qualities.

In order to know in what language they talk in spiritual world than we have to go there and hear it ourselves.
