We are responsible only for our own actions, not for the actions of anyone else, esp not of our seniors. In spirituality, the guru is responsible for taking the disciple back to godhead, therefore takes over 1/4th of the karma of the disciple.
To answer your question, if the teacher has strayed for whatever reason, then the teacher is responsible for his action and will get reaction accordingly. It will not fall upon the student, unless the student has aided the the teacher's downfall in any way or still follows the teacher after the downfall.
Be steady on your own sadhana and seek another teacher. Krsna will surely show you the way.
