    Hare Krsna Mataji,

    PAMHO.

    While I agree with whatever has been written, according to me - a person who comes on the path of KC is very very fortunate. It is the causeless mercy of the lord that the person comes on this path. Personally, if I think of myself as unique, I will fall down in the deepest hell, being puffed up in my own self esteem. I would rathar thing I am most fallen and it is guru, sadhu and shastra which is somehow pulling me through. It is the association of devotees like you who tolerate me that I am able to do any sadhana at all.

    Please pray for me devotees, so that one day I get the mercy of the lord and the lord says - here goes My devotee.

    I dont mean offence to anyone, just putting down my own thoughts.

    Not Just unique...thats an under statement..Chaitana Charitamrta says: Lava matra sadhu sanga sarva karma krta haya..Even a moment's assocation with a saintly person(like Prabhupada) is enough for perfection. He is THE MOST FORTUNATE..Now, let me elaboarate how lucky somebody is how begins practising KC...There are 8,400,000 species of living entities who are scattered all over the material universes beginning from Lord Brahma's abode( brahma loka) to the lowest hell (paataal loka). Of these there are only 400000 human species as stated in padma Purana. So, now you may wonder how can there be so many human species. So, its described in BG..karanam guna sangasya sad asad janma yonishu..depending on which mode of material nature you are associating with , you get a particular type of body. SO the various human species are nothing but permutations and combinations of these three gunas (goodness, passion and ignorance). Majority of which are uncivilised as stated in 1st canto SB. Now, what are the probablity of being born a human being out of so many species..very less...!!! what are the chances of being born in this era (golden age of Kali-yuga which is 10,000 years out of 4,32,000) very very less. How many devotees do we actually see in the world? Not even 0.0001 percent of the total population...So isnt it amazing that Krishna says..ONLY A MAHATMA after many many births surrenders unto me...Hope you got the logic.
